Yeah, I actually was thinking I should take out some of the stuff about my plans for performances and all because it wasn't really asked for. But I'm sure we'll get the opportunity to develop our characters later

sometimes less is more. not every queen has to have to be in a character. a drag name is simply what represents them, what they like, not about telling a 10 pages story in 16 letters or less. go to the real queens and ask them why they choose their name - at least half of them will answer with "because I like it".

All parts of the challenge ("A Name Fit for a Queen") put emphasis on our drag name and why we chose it. There's nothing in this description that asked for or even encouraged backstories, mythos or further development of the persona at this point.

I want each challenge to be at least 1 week. the fact that we had to come up with something in 2 days is ridiculous. some members missed out because maybe they didn't go to ATRL every day or had time to do think about a drag name.

But almost nobody can look at Yekaterina Petrovna Zamolodchikova and know how to pronounce that before hearing Katya's introduction videos. That doesn't keep her from being iconic. Such as the puppet show with her becoming Katya Slabalabalababitch or when Yara Sofia posted this on IG.

Perhaps, but the idea of this game is to role play as a drag queen. The challenge is basically to stick out in the crowd. You need something memorable or different, and a lot of people saying "I chose this name because I'm FIERCE" just doesn't stick out. You don't want to be a Miss Fame. That's just my advice to everybody in the future because I wasn't going to copy and paste the same thing 20 times in my critiques so I thought I'd just post it now. But if you don't want to take it, you don't have to
