Oh Cynthia! When I entered that house for the first time my strongest pokemon was a Lvl 68 Jellicent and I almost kicked her ass. Unfortunately I lost but I took revenge of course. Its so easy to train on Black City.

But yeah she is tough. The only thing remaining for you is rechallenging the Elite 4 but you've probably done that.

I rechallenged the Ellite 4 three times to level up the Lilligant I traded. Im going to hunt the legends already, Kyurem is the first on my list.

Spark and arguably Flame Charge are more useful for it than Shock Wave - and it learns Wild Charge at 47 which can be seen as an electric type Take Down with better accuracy.

I'd definitely say the Tympole line. You get Seismitoad as early as level 36, it gets Muddy Water and has all around good stats and typing. Grass is not a threat in this game.

Simipour needs a Water Stone, has better key stats like Speed and Special Attack and you can teach it Dive via HM, but that's not a concern until much much later.

Seismitoad also learns Drain Punch which is a welcome addition, Fighting is ridiculous in this game offensively.

Ability-wise Poison Touch and Swift Swim (it naturally learns Rain Dance if you're into that) are definitely more useful than Gluttony.

I played it (White version ) for 5 hours today.

I really like that stupid looking dog Pokemon. Most of the other Pokemon are also stupid, but not in a good way.
