I don't know why A lot of folks are having meltdowns about this song possibly underperforming due to its "genericness" when there have been other "generic" songs that have performed well (digitally and in air play), so I don't see what the problem is. It's a simple song and has Katy written all over it. Seeing as the divorce is in progress, the media is likely to eat it up and give exposure to the song.

It's Katy Perry so of course its gonna do fine,that's the last thing I care about.But the problem is that this will get her in (over)overexposed situation and its not worth it.If it was some brand new fresh good song I wouldn't mind.

But this song sounds like 2007's Pink/Kelly Clarkson basic stale lifeless leftover you find cute at 1st few listens and then after more spins you start getting sick of it.General public/radio listeners will get (really) really sick of her and its not worth it,especially because of this song.
