100% sure it's an error because San Jose was initially sold-out. A few tens of tickets have been added in last minute but not more. And the SAP Center doesn't have a capacity of 17k at all
The biggest attendance I saw there is P!nk with a sold-out show of 14,187 people during her Truth About Love Tour and her stage is really small. Usually, artists play a sold-out crowd of 12-13k there and I don't think Gaga can reach 14k there.
So, it's obviously an error (like Katy Perry's boxscore in Birmingham ?).

Because it was sold-out. Gaga was sold-out too. 14k is the maximum capacity. It's just an error from Pollstar.

The capacity seems wrong, the SAP Center is smaller then that although she did have a lot of behind the stage seats.. but then again everyone said the original information I provided was wrong and the gross turned out to be identical, but the attendance was less (Atlanta) – maybe this will happen again

I agree it seems off, but don't shoot it down too quickly as the original pollstar info was correct

Sections behind the stage. Venue capacity isn't easy to define. Just like I found out that London O2 is around 16.5 k (Beyonce) to 17.3 k (P!nk) concert tickets and not 20 k.
