Oct 5
Example - 10 million people
Nicki Minaj - Anaconda
Pitbull - Fireball
Nicki is gonna get to #1 that week for sure, and she'll probably perform on The XF on the same night as Nicole so they might fight for the top spots.
I honestly DON'T expect OTR to go #1, but I see it getting to top 5 since it'll have some serious TV promo in October, unlike YL, which had promo on morning shows mostly.

My thoughts exactly, though I hope the promo will be even tighter for this release, I don't think she will get radio support for thsi song either, so if she coud book every morningshow, the big live shows and some additional promo, it could be on lock, but she aslo should ahve two or 3 performances in the week after the release, sintead only in prior.

This time she'll spend 2 weeks in UK so there'll be performances in the release week.

A #1 would be nice, but again that's down to airplay.

I don't think 5H's Bo$$ is being sent to radio here, but I could be wrong.
But not Rixton releasing on the same week. I already know Capital FM will be spinning whatever they're releasing to the point of irritation

I don't see much competition unless the others are supported by radio. Fifth Harmony are a non-factor. Rixton are a boy band so young girls will buy the song and maybe they'll get another hit if the UK are here for them again. Demi doesn't have a strong following in the UK as far as I know but if she gets radio support she'll do fine.

I think her only competition from this list are Rixton, 5H and Demi.

Rixton won't be that problem i guess since MAMBH had months of pre order and was playlisted for months. It looks like Nicole could get the #1 with a good promo. But we gotta hear the song first, maybe it's something that UK radios would eat (hopefully ) and we won't even think about these.

yeah you are right, btw is Cher Lloyd still a factor in the UK? If so, Demi has a chance with radio support

I don't think so, since Sirens kinda flopped and she hasn't had a hit for a long time.

At this point, Demi is bigger than Cher Lloyd. She released Neon Lights here 9 months after the music video, Let It Go was the longest charting single in the UK to never reach the top 40 ever & Skyscraper reached the top 10 last year, 2 years after release. Heart Attack, Made in the USA, Neon Lights & Skyscraper all received mass support from Captial, so they'll probably put this one into power rotation too.

Thanks.
Really don't care is already out on iTunes, isn't it? It's just the single that's gonna be released and if it didn't chart well so far, why would it in October?
5th Harmony aren't really big out there, they might get an XF promo slot on that night but I doubt. I'd rather say that her biggest threat is Nicki's Anaconda, but as I said, I don't expect her to get to #1, so I don't wanna worry about her "competition". But if she manages to perform on both SCD and The X Factor, plus the Jonathan Ross show & morning shows, we could hope.

We'll see, maybe they come to perform on the 12th but they can't all perform that night. It's kinda confirmed that Nicole's performing on the 12th, the first Results show, so there might be 1 or 2 more performances (I'm guessing Nicki with Anaconda).
BTW guys, Nicole is in London, right? Not attending the VMAs, again

Add that list a radio promo tour too and no need to hope anymore, it would definetely go #1. It depends on her team i guess.

It would've been great for her if she appeared on red carpet and presented an award or something. But let's hope for an EMA performance which is more important and possible for her right now.

It's on iTunes, but it already has thousands of physical pre-orders set to be released in October, so that will give it a boost + the version on iTunes will be made 'album-only' soon & a £0.99 single pre-order will replace it. There's already a remix EP pre-order. It's a UK label tactic, and it's quite effective.
