After originally going into rage mode after the end of the show tonight...I've calmed down and realized that this was the absolute best decision to make.

I never thought I'd say that about Brock Lesnar losing his return match, but, for all of you comic nerds out there (all two of you), this was Superman vs. Doomsday all over again. Technically, Superman "won" that first fight, too (well, actually, they went to a draw, but...there wasn't going to be a draw in this match, obviously)...but paid the ultimate price. Lesnar came out of this looking like the biggest asskicker on the planet despite losing, AND he made John Cena "retire".

Ten bucks says that Brock Lesnar does not lose any momentum from this loss and, in fact, GAINS from it.

I don't see how there could've been any sort of doubt that Lesnar came out of this looking like a monster. How are people even complaining right now?

For the second straight year, Extreme Rules rides through as a definitive underdog PPV. Possibly the best of the year so far, with a possible MOTY contender in Punk/Jericho.

Too bad the crowd and Universe alike buried and no-sold her. The little credibility the Divas title had... three reigns in less than a week.

It's cool they allowed her a training regime while she was out, however. She seemed to have been working super-hard throughout, so props to her.

Too bad she's being groomed for nothing more than being Kharma's first opponent.

I'm soo happy Layla is back! however it's a bummer the crowd wasn't really that pumped for her return. A LOT of people were expecting Kharma to return, that was the big hype.

About the Lesnar vs Cena match, it was so hardcore watching Cena bleed so many times and keep goin' the man is a bomb! Best moment of the match, when Cena grabbed the chain and smashed Lesnar with it, I was like "Yes baby, a little thug Cena in there" It was great.

As for Cena taking a break, I do think he needs one, plus they say he's been having some injuries. But no way do I see Cena retiring any time soon, it's one of those "vacations"

I was at Extreme Rules and most people in the arena thought Kharma was going to return. People started chanting her name as soon as they said Phoenix couldn't compete. I gues seeing Layla was a let down. However, as you stated, the crowd was dead for most of the match, it should've had a stipulation to fit with the PPV.
