"Hello" will likely get a big boost on the following chart due to the release of 25, and for several thereafter. Even if the sales don't count to Hello's total due to CMA, the sales will still boost Hello's number of chart points. SIO got a boost when 1989 was released due in part to large album sales, even though SIO plummeted down to just 11,000 tracks for one week. Also, BB awarded "The Hills" DG the week BBTM came out, even though TH's track sales dropped substantially.

I only said it was coming not that it would. Calm down. I'm fully aware that he has some time to go but things are looking bright at the moment.

I know someone posted a screenshot of Silvio's tweet, but the last three ( or four) times I remember BB adjusting the formula (weakening sales at start of 2008 Chart Year, and maybe 2009 too, then weakening streaming at start of 2014 & 2015 Chart years), it was at the start of the chart year. Now streaming was added in three phases during chart years -- On-Demand was added in March 2012, non-ODS Audio Streaming was added in February 2013, and VS was added in March 2013. Apple needs to start reporting its video streams, and BB should look at the Vine and other sources as they start 2016. It'd be cool though if BB actually chose the exact formula I proposed!
