That is not true, there is no scientist proof of that. And there are different ways to be raised without your father, you can be raised by a disfunctional heterosexual couple and your dad leaves.
And since you think being raised by a father is the way of escaping homosexuality so does that mean you agree with children being raised by two male homosexuals? Because technically that makes two fathers.

the thread title should be changed to :
"lets give ignorant, reckless, and false opinions about equal rights and then play victim when you're called out on it"

Dead at the title change.
You should have known how this discussion was going to turn out on a predominately homosexual website.

I have to bump this post.
It's the true bottom-line of this thread.

When you present an opinion in a debated thread, it is obviously begging to be challenged.

I actually disagree with this post; plenty of people don't have the right to be a parent IMO, but it's nothing to do with sexuality.

I'm not really sure what the original thread title was, but based on the conversation now, I'ma just share my opinion on a homosexual couple raising children. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but personally, I can't look back and say that I would like to have had two gay parents. It's just odd to me, in the sense that I can't imagine not having an obvious mother figure and father figure in my life. Sure, a gay couple can do a fantastic job raising children, just as a straight couple can also do a horrific job. But having a mother and father is something I wouldn't trade the world for. So, personally it's not for me, and I'm glad it wasn't so. However, I'm sure there are tons of children out there raised by a neglecting heterosexual couple that would die for caring parents, no matter their sexuality.

If only I knew. It kills me you can't have normal conversation on this site. I love y'all but it's not okay. You won't win anything for being rude to others you will only cause hatred. Then it's a stan war, then a movie war, then a **** war, there is always something going on here !! Why is everyone so tense and so guarded ? Please stop.

How many of yall would have liked to have been raised by two men/two women??

Honestly, I would rather have two mothers or two fathers than one parent. Many children are raised without a mother or father by a single parent, so I don't see how having another parent of the same gender would hurt.

I mean unless they prove themselves to be unfit for parenthood. Until they do so, everyone deserves an equal chance.

This is called a heated debate (what else did you expect from this kind of topic?), don't expect everything to be soft and padded so your feelings don't get hurt.
