I honestly thought Born This Way would of spent weeks at #1... And ppl you can't compare the sales of Britney, Rih & Katy to Lady GaGa... Did you compare that monstrous marketing campaign?

Yes you can compare
They are all female pop singers with a label. They all have the same resources.
NOTE: Good numbers for Brit and Em' from 10+ years ago

That's like saying, you can compare the sales of Crysis 2 and Call of Duty [insert name after COD3]!

Em ft Britney would be a dream
And to the Gaga sta..sorry, Gaga monsters:
Why not just accept that the album isn't doing great?
Why compare it to other albums? Why talk about she ain't doing any promo?
Eminem released Not Afraid as his first single and then his album.
Imagene if he had released LTWYL with a music video before the album dropped.
And he just sits in his studio or does other things like Britney. He almost don't promote his albums at all. But he sells like hell.
Adele is killing the game right now with her album sales and Katy & Rihanna with their singles. Where is Gaga?
She has like 3 singles and soon 3 music videos out already?
Eminem has 3 singles and 3 music videos out too. But his album has been out for 50 weeks!
Just imagene if he had been better with his singles and released Space Bound with the music video too as his 4th single. Then Recovery would have done even better.
Gagas album has too many fillers. But what else should you exept when she is doing shows and looking for the most conterversial clothes all the time.

Gagas Album is one of the best albums I've heard this year. IMO.
Talk for yourself please.
And I fail to see where an album that has sold 1.3 million units in two weeks is "not doing good".

The album is doing amazing and her promo is crazy, and it's you who are comparing it to other albums atm
Gaga's sales are great just like Adele's. Katy and Rihanna are selling singles because they don't sell as many albums as Gaga does (even though Rihanna's latest singles are flopping). But still, Born This Way was a huge hit and TEOG is smashing so idk what you're talking about.
And don't act like Em only has 3 singles out because each one can last half a year or something, he only had 2 hits off the album.
The standard version of Born This Way has no fillers. Not one. The special has, but bonus tracks are always fillers anyway.

Noone denies that Eminem has done amazing! He is in fact a phenomenon and one of the few who have this kind of sales in 2010.
BUT 10 years ago, he might have sold 5 million or more.

And 10 years ago, Gaga would've been under Britney's shadow....Seriously, I doubt Gaga would be able to sell 1 Million album in first week if she had a career 10 years ago.
-10 years ago people were more conservative. Gaga with her blasphemous lyrics wouldn't have worked.
-10 years ago people knew Britney, Christina, and Destiny's Child...I doubt Gaga would've done as good as Britney or Christina. Her material wasn't what was IT a decade ago.
-10 years ago people preferred sexy/cutie image...Gaga is none of those. Britney, Christina, and Beyonce were...
10 years ago, Gaga wouldn't have been as successful as she is now.

I wouldn't say Gaga's album ISN'T DOING WELL. Second week sales aren't too bad and this is doing fine for now. Is it smashing like people predicted? No. But by no means is it NOT doing well.
I agree that the album is much weaker than The Fame, which is what catapulted her into stardom. There are a LOT of filler tracks and I think it wont smash as hard as The Fame. In the end though, it will do good.
