the way stalin killed so many millions of people and nobody outside of russia even knew (at least the full extent) for so long terrifies me. like...this stuff can't be underestimated
I came back from Berlin this morning where I went on a tour based on German history. I actually started crying when the tour guide started talking, in depth, about the millions of Jews murdered by nazi's. I never cry but hearing about how a lot of the Jewish people thought they were going somewhere for new work but instead were being put to death by gas chambers, my tears could not stop.
I went to the official memorial of the 6 million Jewish people murdered and it's just so suffocating and unpleasant (if you've seen it, you'll know the feeling im talking about).
Slavery & the Holocaust come to mind.
Genocide in general.
I find Chernobyl really creepy though, like moreso than human evils.
We can control humans but we can't control the elements really and that's what freaks me out.
The fact that Britney Spears released a lead-single from her BJ album yet no one seemed to notice/care that her voice isn't even on the track. How does that even go unnoticed, even on ATRL?
Anything related to the Holocaust terrifies me, especially given how recent it was and the fact that it was in a developed nation. Also the Rwandan Genocide, Armenian Genocide, Slavery and Jim Crow. I hate thinking about how recent a lot of this stuff was.
