I'm guessing that's where they clashed, Dr Luke and the label had SUBG as a pop song and she wanted more guitars and drums to make it more pop-rock.
I'm wondering which album she's referring to when she says they wouldn't put the record out unless she worked with him. I think maybe AIEW? Maybe both tbh. That's so messy how labels can blackmail them.
