I know. But it's awkward at worst. I wouldn't really consider this offensive or racist.
And after all, Beyonce did release the song to the entire public. It's not like she said "If you aren't black, you can't listen or sing along!" or anything like that. She has a lot of white fans and millions of them have probably sung this song already; maybe at home while nobody was listening, but have still sung it nonetheless.
The song was definitely made specifically for African-Americans, but I feel like if other races want to chant a song that is basically praising blacks and preaching a positive message, then there shouldn't really be a huge uproar about it.
