The choruses sound similar and both have been compared by many publications.

I don't like CG as much. Sorry, it doesn't have the same appeal as Tik Tok. That or we're already tired of Tik Tok and CG is just a rehash of the same beats.

Unless this person is a great DJ/mixer, there are rarely two songs that mixes well together unless they are similar in some way.

Also, "Tik Tok" isn't that original to begin with since it is extremely similar to this Justice song:


If anything, the verses from "Tik Tok" takes from the verses from "The Party" and also takes a bit from the chorus from "Just Dance." Does that mean they sound exactly alike? No. But there are some notable similarities if you listen closely. "Tik Tok" is far from original.
