Sadly, I don't have any artwork to post... but I will put the best song from each album underneath.
15.) Ellie Goulding- Delirium
Ellie Goulding is one of my favorite artist, (Hint at my profile pic) and I was looking forward to this album. Sadly, one of the most disappointing albums of this year. Yes, there are amazing songs, 'Codes', 'Don't Need Nobody', 'Army' and the bonus Target track, 'Two Years Ago'. But overall, the album felt underwhelming and too heavily produced.
14.) Little Boots- Working Girl
Other great songs:
Get Things Done
Real Girl
13.) Kate Boy- One
Other Great Songs:
Open Fire
When I Was Young
Higher
12.) Sarah Blasko- Eternal Return
Sarah Blasko is an artist I am surprised that most people on here do not know or listen to. A very mellow singer/songwriter who always mixes different sounds in her album. Sarah has been around for over 10 years, great voice, great songs.
Other Great Songs:
Maybe This Time
Luxurious
I'd Be Lost
11.) Icona Pop- Emergency E.P.
It's rare for me to put an E.P so high up in my best of countdown. But all three songs, 'Clap Snap', and 'First Time' were the best pop songs of the year. I'm ready for their new album (if it comes out in 2016)
10.) Ryn Weaver- The Fool
Other Great Songs:
OctaHate
Pierre
Sail On
9.) Disclosure- Caracal
Of course a song featuring Lorde would be the best song on the album
Other Great Songs:
Omen (Feat. Sam Smith)
Superego (Feat. Nao)
Jaded
8.) Vanessa Carlton- Liberman
Other Great Songs:
Operator
Take It Easy
Willows
7.) Metric- Pagans In Vegas
Other Great Songs:
Celebrate
Cascades
Blind Valentine
6.) Alessia Cara- Know-It-All
Other Great Songs:
Seventeen
Here
Overdose
River of Tears
5.) Adele-25
Other Great Songs:
Why Do You Love Me
Send Your Love (To Your New Lover)
Million Years Ago
Water Under The Bridge
4.) Marina & The Diamonds- Froot
Other Great Songs:
Forget
Weeds
Happy
Immortal
3.) Melanie Martinez- Crybaby
Oh, Melanie. I've loved you since The Voice... This girl is everything we need in the music industry.
Other Great Songs:
Soap
Play Date
Alphabet Boy
Tag, You're It
Pity Party
2.) Chvrches- Every Eye Open
If you ever great the chance to see them live, DO IT. They put on a great show, and their music is just the best.
Other Great songs:
All of them, just listen to the album. NOW
1.) Florence + The Machine- How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful
BIG SURPRISE! Every song on this album is amazing. But, not as amazing as the Target bonus track, 'Conductor'. One of the main reasons why I will spend extra money to get all the bonus songs... Sometimes those b-sides are better than any other son on the album. Sidenote, this is the winner of Song of The Year.
Delirium is a good album! I still need to check out Caracal in full but I was so disappointed with the singles the only one I like is Magnets! Know-It-All is one of my fave albums of 2015! Love every track! Alessia is my favorite "new" artist of 2015 so far
6.) Missy Elliott (feat. Pharrell Williams)- WTF (Where They From)
5.) Taylor Swift (feat. Kendrick Lamar)- Bad Blood
4.) Disclosure (feat. Lorde)- Magnets
3.) Florence + The Machine- Queen of Peace/Long & Lost
2.) Florence + The Machine- What Kind of Man
1.) Florence + The Machine- Ship To Wreck
And of course, Florence takes over the Top 3 videos of the year.
