To be fair, directly comparing a male pop star to a female rapper is a bit unfair. The best way to say who has had the better career is to compare them against their peers.

Justin is the biggest male pop star of his generation.

Nicki is, at best, only the second biggest female rapper of her generation.

So I'd still have to go with Justin.
