@TinkerBell I get it but still there is a difference, if it's all about the stage, once again, for me it's Beyoncé, I might say she surpassed MJ on stage as far as I'm concerned. She can do it all & more in heels. 2nd is MJ the uncomparable.
But much respect to the class acts of the past, Josephine Baker, Lena Horne, Ella Fitzgerald, Mahalia Jackson, Nina Simone, Eartha Kitt, Aretha, Patti, Dionne, Tina Turner, Whitney, Mariah. They left me in awe when I watched their performances videos on youtube. Honestly the people who can sang will always leave me speechless.

Michael for sure, but I wouldn't consider Madonna as being one of the "greatest entertainers" of all time. She doesn't really excel in one form of talent/skill (singing, dancing, etc.).
