Oh that's how they're getting those numbers, I thought they meant the TV audience. The thread title is still incorrect since the first episode of FS got almost as many numbers as the last episode without streaming.

Gaga is not the end all and be all of this season. She's one character in an ensemble cast.

I'm glad to see it doing well though - I truly love AHS and want to see it go on for years still. I've loved every season so far.

Honestly it doesn't make much sense to look at same day ratings anymore (this goes for all TV shows, as ratings have been declining for years). People simply don't watch TV like that anymore.

At the end of the day, all a network cares about is how much money they can make selling ads during a show. If FX finds that looking at L+3 helps them make the best deci$ion$, then L+3 is the proper way to guage AHS's popularity.

Considering the article is stating that live+3 ratings is FX's measurement of choice and FX is also planning to stop reporting same day ratings, it seems that they are making enough money out of streamings and DVR views since the network keeps renewing it's shows with abysmal ratings

You know # of viewers get adjusted after taking into consideration Live+3, DVR and stuff like that, right?

The first episode had ~6m viewers and 12.17m after being adjusted.

tbh she probably has the shortest script like she barely has lines or showcases her acting compared to the other actors. Its still miles better than last season tho
