I don't know if he's had any country radio hits but those are really bad numbers for a legend like Tim McGraw. The title probably did him in with the uber-religious Bible belters.
Very bad numbers for Ellie. But she doesn't have a smash hit (aside from "LMLYD") and her album is retailing for a very high price, even for the standard version.
Ellie's doing exactly what I predicted, this is good considering "Love Me Like You Do" was so long ago. She's improving 67% over Halcyon so that's good, she'll sell consistently with upcoming promotion and from the big tour.
Fan excuse bingo for Ellie: she hasn't promoted in the US, the album is too expensive (16.99), the lead single is bad, album sales are down overall anyway
+ This is an increase from her last 2 albums, what did people expect? 100k+? A 100%+ increase in a declining market?
