I don't think it's as soon as we think, RedOne probably doesn't even know when. I think he just finished recording/mixing it and tweeted.

I wonder if she's going to continue stringing albums one after another forever.

She's like a chain-smoker, but with making music. Which is very similar to early Madonna. There is almost zero chance of GaGa flopping, especially if she refines her sound/image a bit, but I do think she will need to get back to herself for a little bit. She's only human.

Meh, Madonna and Like A Virgin were a year and 4 months apart. After that she was releasing 2-4 years. Unless you're including the 2 soundtracks release during her breaks.

the only other artist i can think of is Alexandra Burke .. he was supposed to work on her Overcome US version so maybe

as much as i want more GaGa, i think the girl needs a break .. and she will still be touring until april 2011, so i dont see how shes gonna have time to promote new first single and a new album so soon .. i think it will be perfect if she drops a single april/may 2011 .. and then a new album july 2011

and as for now .. get the Alejandro video out already and plz don't pull the Telephone music video delay crap on us .. and once Alejandro dies .. send Monster to radios coz this will be a monster hit

Burke came up as well, but I didn't figure she had enough hype to remain secretive and not to say her name.

And while I agree GaGa should take a break while touring, she did it with The Fame Monster. She promoted "Bad Romance" and the album in those 3-4 weeks she had after The Fame Ball Tour and before starting The Monster Ball Tour. Also while "Paparazzi" was still hot on radio, so I don't see them minding to interfere with "Alejandro".

And she has plenty of month-long breaks in between the tour...so she'll find time.

I'm thinking the same. i know they say "soon" but i can't help but think they're implying anything less than 2 months away... but even that is soon considering the FM is still going strong.

Kinda off topic, but do you have any idea if Gaga could be added to the MTV movie awards lineup? My local radio dj (sanfrancisco) said he knows some 'behind the scenes" people and that they were desperately trying to get her to come... i thought it was impossible but i noticed the awards take place two days after her tour break (june 4)

I hope this is true I guess, but I want DITD to be a single, it doesn't look like they will release any other singles from TFM if the new single is coming soon. Oh well... I can't wait to hear some new material, some people might think it's too soon for her to release again, but for her fans it's not. I've been eager for a while now!

Alright GaGa lets get that new record out.

Hopefully, she won't become a case of overexposure. People sometimes need time to miss you before you make another album. If people are so use to hearing you over and over again then eventually they'll get tired of you. BUT, hell when you're hot....you're hot and that's what Lady GaGa is right now, HOT!!!! I think she's done enough already to solidify herself a solid fan base to pace her career for a nice long run.
