Pitchfork always hated Madonna
They also gave COADF a low score
But Unbreakable is a good album
Excuse me?
Quote:
She essentially built the house that everyone else—Britney, Beyoncé, Nicki, Gaga, Sky, Rihanna, Katy, Ariana, even Kanye—all now get to call home.
She devised the archetype of pop stardom as we know and understand it today. And, with the exception of Michael Jackson—the King of Pop to her Queen—Madonna’s enduring impact on popular culture remains pretty much unequaled.
wow...what a waste of time this thread... Madonna remains unbothered.... Did anyone mention Janet or any other artist when reviewing Madonna's latest album?
Theres no shade or dragging, only fact.
'This ability to synthesize what music needs instead of catering to its whims'
As soon as Madonna stops trying to be a 'cool mom' she will go back to making amazing music. Trend catching Madonna is awful now, but gimme some flawless dont-give-a-****-about-the-charts album and i will go back to being a fan.

I think her recent music IS amazing... And she acts the way she should and at least we can clearly see ageism in pop music...but it's your opinion..
And what 'cool mom' means anyway?
But I don't understand, you claimed you snatched the thread before a LM did and turned it into something it's not, then you do the same, where is the logic
I actually agree with him on this one. Unbreakable is so mature and different from what's out there right now. The last time madge did something like this was confessions imo.
