i think people are mainly bothered with it being slow, and they dont want another flop. im not saying it will flop, nobody knows, but an upbeat club banger would stand much less of a chance flopping.

I'm starting to think that noone knows the diffrence between an midtempo, slow song or ballad.
Either way, Promise was a first single (although Get Up was technically the first but it was also a soundtrack song) and it didn't flop. So let's see. She doesn't need an uptempo, just as long as the song is good.
