IMO the era was pretty big, but it just didn't really feel like an era because all of the songs were so different and could have been sung by anyone. In retrospect, 6 #1s is a lot, but just,... eh.

It's about how it FEELS. For example while the era sold a lot, Style was just a moderate hit and Bad Blood feels a little bit like radio filler. The album is great through, i just wish she released New Romantics
