Kinda. I was partying, drinking, doing drugs, and I was a dancer at my school and my boyfriend was on the swim team. I basically lived as a suburban teenage white girl
I feel like the only people who say this are the "cool" crowd who were failing half their classes, doing weed everyday, and always skipping and are now in jail + the lame football/basketball heads who are now stuck at Walmart because they didn't get drafted into the NFL/NBA like they thought and had absolutely no life plan aside from an unrealistic dream.
Why did you guys hate high school so much? You probably didn't put your time to good use.
I mean, if you're the type who's always skipping, worried about a relationship, smoking, etc then yes I guess 'it was the best years'.
But if you were actually trying in High School (not even necessarily being a 'nerd' at all) as in worrying about passing your classes, not getting arrested, having a job, and trying to get into college then yes it's boring as hell. Who wants to be worried about allathat 24/7? So much stress on top of waking up at 7AM, dealing with teachers you don't like, and not having much freedom.

i dont hate high school it's just that there's so much more out in the world than high school. once you graduate you can do whatever you want and live how you want and if high school are the best years of your life it's just sad because that's only such a small part of your life.
No, I hated high school and most of the people in it. Had to commute 30 minutes daily my senior year on top of marching band and my brother playing football, so I didn't have time or gas money to do much else
Now college is a mess and a half but I still live for it
Okay congrats on going through a hard time in high school like ALMOST EVERY TEENAGER EVER. Most people went through bullying, harassment, depression, bad relationships, etc on some level in high school. Not everyone, but it's surely common. There's no sense in having a pity party about something that is long behind you.
Think of it as a blessing because you grew from it and you're no longer at that point. I went through so much in HS but it's not like every single day was hell. Y'all need to be thankful.
