I think Carter should consult a psychiatrist. A rational thinking person does not encourage someone to end their life. It looks like she was having fun at it, even. She reminds me of that evil girl from the movie Orphan.

What an evil psychopath. The way she was constantly pressuring him and guilting him into doing it. He didn't even want to go through with it. I think if she told him or he had a friend, he could've been talked out of it. He was really scared and concerned for his family and kept questioning it. SMH. I HOPE SHE GETS LIFE!
Why would she think this is ok to do. Because she wanted sympathy? Wow.
And you can tell she had an ulterior reason to keep pushing him to do it.
I mean, it's crystal clear that the kid actually didn't want to do it, instead he thought about his family, what was going to happen to them when they found out, etc. To me, I think that the kid was doing fine before he met that trashcan.
