Whenever I hear people say they don't like Beyoncé because they can't relate to her, or she doesn't seem "real" or whatever other poor excuse for liking an artist is, I can't help but laugh. Are you looking for a best friend or are you looking to be entertained?

I think for most Bey stans, identifying with her comes afterwards. First and foremost we are here for her sheer stage brilliance and ability to slay almost anything.

Why would someone cover Vogue if they have nothing to say? She just keeps on giving me reasons not to like her. This whole persona is so fake and shallow that it would actually surprise me if she had any opinion on anything at all. To me she's just a really nicely-handled pretty puppet who does as she's told and uses her superiors words as her own to come across as someone who's in control but is actually the imeprsonation on someone who's being controlled.
