This was what happened with Native by OneRepublic, too. Re-released with Love Runs Out then released I Lived after that. Difference was 1R's releases were on point. Sadly, Maroon 5 is going downhill with their singles (at least speaking for myself). TSGHLAM and now this. I knew they would consider this as a single but I was hoping they wouldn't pursue it. I just hope this won't backfire.

Coming Back for You should stay an underrated album gem. They can release In Your Pocket or Leaving California after Feelings. Leaving California would probably work better because it's a ballad. And I agree with others saying It Was Always You is overrated.

They release all the singles too soon this era. Animals, Sugar, This Summer and now this were all rushed and released before the peak of the previous single. Even if This Summer floped they should've waited a little bit longer cuz it's still growing in many european countries
