Not only will Taylor Swift be praised for being a creatively involved and self-made artist, who has been the main writer of everything we've heard since day one and possessed the ability to play a multitude of instruments, she will be recognised for her relentless business acumen (i.e. not going bankrupt by the time her 4th album had dropped).

I'm talking about remarkable songs and albums. Taylor has Love Story and You Belong With Me there. Rihanna has more than that.
Most of the time, singles will always be remembered than whole albums. And sales doesn't matter in making a legacy. It's the influence and contribution to the changing phase of music. Rihanna has done that. Taylor hasn't.
In addition to that there are albums which failed to crack the Top 50 of the BB200 yet has a huge legacy.
I mean... her impact alone on fashion is greater than Taylor's impact overall. What impact has Taylor had? No one is copying her style or her sound. Meanwhile Rihanna has already had countless clones (Rita, Tinashe, Willow Smith, the girl who sings Somebody) and is constantly setting trends in fashion. Also she basically is the reason your fave's boyfriend and The-Dream still have careers today
And Rihanna has sold over 115m records in the US alone and is upwards of 220m worldwide. I was not aware Taylor has sold that much!
Taylor Swift was born a legend and possesses raw star quality that money can't buy.
Rihanna, while I'm a fan of hers, is just another pop star. She didn't change people's lives like Tay did.
And she has bigger overall sales too
