Oh! I've never really seen any of his posts. But it's not shocking - racists would love to think the Beatles has had more impact than hip-hop. They see hip-hop as being of a "lower-class" or "beneath" the music white people put into the mainstream, but in case you didn't notice, it's black people who have been driving music trends for DECADES. White people tend to jock it, present it as their own and take the credit for themselves

Because the Beatles didn't actually pioneer much with regards to the music they made? Whereas hip-hop has not only affected pop music, but it has had an extended reach in dance music, in vocal stylings, in the production of music, in the way music is consumed, like I could literally go on and on.
