I figured Chris Cornell was a big help, but the song still climbed much higher than I expected with the Zac Brown Band as the lead artist. Country ought to give the song a little airplay too.

Yes I loved it the first week it came out but got old so quickly, I don't know.

I am also not feeling Mumford and Of Monsters and Men this era, which is sad because I stanned for them hard in 2012. The Lumineers need to hurry up with that 2nd album too.

Brian, may I suggest just Rock and Alternative Base as the title? You can specify the radio formats in the OP page, also you could add pictures or something that'd be cool.

Well one way you can is looking for a pic on google images and right clicking it and choosing the Open image in new tab option, then copy the url and put it between the [img][/img] tags. If it's too complicated don't worry though, it's not that important.

I will switch to Rock and Alternative Music Discussion tomorrow when I log back on my laptop. That is broader based, and because my opening paragraph already has all six current Rock formats I know about already listed. I have a bunch of photos I've saved on my computer from my music articles I can try to load to the page too.

I'm sorry I just didn't get on here much today. My final school papers for this semester are due 21/27 April, so I will be busy with that (I'm a broke grad student lol). But this thread is a good way to get my column back going, because now I will know what other Rock and Alternative fans are into, just like the Country fans on Celebrates thread, which I also include on my Rock column. Thank you again for everyone's contributions! And you can probably figure it out, but my name is Brian. :-)

Jack White is very talented, although he admittedly marches to the beat of a different drum lol. Celebrity Skin was a good song, and it was released when Courtney Love was going out of her way to look really good (I remember that album cover).

She has finally got back off of drugs, but if she could have stayed clean from 1998 on with the background that album built, Hole would have been a much bigger band. They had and to an extent still have some of the talent and potential. Now they are working against Father Time though.

If they are going for much more harder sound, I may use it.

Based on the good advice of LoJoPaNdA, I changed the title of this thread to the more inclusive Rock and Alternative Music Discussion Forum. I highlighted all of the current Rock formats tracked with charts, so people can see all of them are fair game for discussion.
