I know people do improvisations and all that over the instrumentals when the song hasn't been completed yet, but did she record this whilst being coked out of her mind?
FYI that's how most songs are created with existing instrumentals, first they sing gibberish to get the melody and feel right, and later add actual lyrics.

I bet Interscope axed it when they insisted on a "Pure Pop" sound or whatever.
