Ok the first 3 tracks are genius.. mad, darkwave, evil beat
track 4 i want to hear the main chorus, so i'll wait .. track 5 i don't get it
track 6 russian roulette and track 7 fire bomb sorta juxtaposing and compatible in every way
track 8 rude boy pretty nice, in an easy way , & again track 9 not so appealing.....
then track 10 it falls again to some kind of don-omar type filler,..
track 11 te amo is like back to music of the sun era, nice, island flavor
and can't figure out the last two tracks yet, no main chorus.. i'll wait..

and overall it's rather bitter, than angry, don't really know how to define this feeling..

Overall I think this album is gonna be really mediocre. Rihanna is forgetting what made her such a huge superstar...amazing dance songs. "Umbrella," "Don't Stop the Music," and "Disturbia" were her biggest hits and HUGE for her, and now she's soooooo emo and I just don't get it.

Hard (feat. Young Jeezy) = hit
Rockstar 101 = okay
Russian Roulette = so depressing and suicidal?
Fire Bomb = preview sounds alright
Te Amo = Old Rihanna, it sounds cool
Cold Case Love = seriously, I fell asleep

Funny that so many people are denouncing it already when, in reality, you can't judge the whole album based on a bunch of clips. Clips don't always capture the best part of the song. I'm sure this album will do just fine. Regardless, Rihanna said herself it doesn't matter how this album fares with sales. She put together an album that satisfies her completely and that's what really differentiates an artist from a singer.

I agree... and so far Ive read nothing but good reviews. This album sounds like it's gonna be HOT. I cannot wait!

Lol. I couldn't help but notice... I think you're confused as to the meaning of your screen name. It says "psycho," not "psychic." (^_^)

All joking aside, I really think we just need to wait until the tracks are released in full. Just as we can't judge a book by its cover (or even a few pages for that matter), we can't judge the tracks by their low quality clips. I don't think the stans will be disappointed at all, but even if some/many are, you can't please everyone. Rihanna's happy with the album... that's all that matters.

EDIT: Looks like you removed the part of your comment where you predicted that even though the stans won't admit it that you thought they were disappointed. Why'd you remove it? I thought it was entertaining! If that's how you feel, why hide it? (^_^)

I'll wait to hear the full album to give my opinion, although, from what I heard, I can tell she is going in a completely different direction this time. My only concern is that I think this album doesn't sound very commercial, it's very different from what is popular out there, she is taking a big risk. I respect her for not taking the safe route and doing what many popular artists are doing.

I wanna hear the whole thing. Rude Boy, Photographs, ROCKSTAR 101, Fire Bomb, and Cold Case Love sound promising.

Judging an album by 30 seconds clips just goes to show how ignorant some of you are regarding music.
