I'm sorry but this screams desperation. Her label clearly are trying to make this Call Me Maybe 2.0, even with the viral aspect. So underwhelmed. I just wish there was a Carly version of the video with her actually singing and then Tom and Bieber come in at the end with the same dance scene. Like the same story told from two points of view. That would slay. Plus, more streaming points!
The end was cute with the dancing but... too much Tom. He wasn't really doing anything. He could've put more energy into the lipping at least to make it funny or something. To me, this seems like an attempt at a viral video that falls kind of short.
Not sure if I like it. The last chorus was awesome and the pregnant joke was funny, but having Tom Hanks taking over most of the video doesn't help Carly since people aren't going to remember her name or face by using him like that.

Her personality definitely shined in CMM but its not her fault the song was so massive. That's always the case with mega hits these days.

Yes! Like if it started w/ Tom and then people started joining in as he walked down the street until he got to Carly and Justin at the end. That would've been really cute. It's not a brand new concept or anything but that would've been better than this

Definitely. Carly's actions in the CMM vid were funny. She should have applied those same goofy personality traits in the I Really Like You video. I agree with Girlicious that her and Tom could have swapped roles.
