It reeked of desperation and has no replay value. The song itself isn't all that, the oufits could have been better and there was zero chemistry between the two of them. It was also poorly edited in parts, most notably that bit where the music stops and she click-clacks "seductively" (it really isn't) towards the camera.

Had JLo been smart she would of released "Booty" ft Iggy Azalea as the first single off AKA instead of the yawner "First Love"....by the time she got around to releasing "Booty", "Anaconda" done sucked all the oxygen out of the room...never mind the fact that JLo has a PR horrible team.

This completely. I think it had a chance to go viral if the timing was better. The song itself isn't great, but it could have done much better with an earlier release.

Neither Iggy or J.Lo were doing anything that everyone hadn't already seen before.

Anaconda and the RiRi/Shakira MV beat them to the punch, and it's not like either were going against the grain of their image like Miley did with Wrecking Ball. Faux lesbianism and ass is always going to rack up some views, but it's not enough in this day and age to make a big impact anymore.
