"Endless Night" is such a beautifully tragic song. ![weeps](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRLSmilies/52b0f867.gif) No matter how many times I listen to it, I always find myself welling up a bit and really getting into the emotion of the song. It really added a whole new dimension to that situation and made my heart break EVEN MORE. Which I was fairly certain wasn't even possible since Mufasa's death was the most scarring moment of my childhood? lmao. Seriously though, beautiful song and I love how it comes to a optimistic ending with the big chorus and positive lyrics. The song isn't really exclusive to the show either, anyone could relate and get something out of the song, regardless if they know the story. Like, I've listened to the song and started crying just because of how relatable it actually was to something I was currently going through.
ugh, you're going to LOVE the show in March! I was fortunate enough to see it during the original run at Princess of Wales Theatre (hate living so far from Broadway) back in 2003, and was completely blown away by the production value and how incredibly well the story adapted to being on-stage. and the costumes! Lord, the costumes were like nothing I'd ever seen before.
![JonnyϟLightning](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/jonny_zpsc73391c5.png) This is like the first time I've seen someone on ATRL show an interest in musicals, so I'm kind of freaking out.
Also, Kerry Ellis' rendition of Let It Go is one of my favourites. She's really able to meet the power that song demands. ![clap3](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/67d90ee8.gif)

Thank you for your comments! Yeah I don't really get to talk about musicals on ATRL so I thought since this is my own personal thread, why not put some songs out there?
And I didn't think anyone else on ATRL had heard of Kerry Ellis!! This is amazing!
Yes I completely agree with everything you said about 'Endless Night'. In the context of the musical it's a heartbreaking song, but the notion of trying to make it through just one more day or night in your life when you feel so incredibly lost is something that everyone can relate to. The writers are genius.
It opens here in Melbourne in February and I have tickets to see it twice already :woo party:
Even though i've never seen it before, pretty sure it will be the best thing i've seen in my life haha.
