100. Lily Allen-“Air Balloon”

We start off our countdown with the second single off Lily Allen's polarizing album Sheezus! Air Balloon was a cute song, it was classic Lily Allen after she gave us the masterpiece that was Hard Out Here (which was not typical Lily at all).

099. Calvin Harris featuring Ellie Goulding-“Outside”

I didn't think this song would make it because it's so recent but it did. Calvin and Ellie have fantastic chemistry as shown by I Need Your Love. Outside has better instrumentals than I Need Your Love but Ellie's voice can be too nasal.

098. John Mayer & Katy Perry-“Who You Love”

The first out of four Katy appearances in my year-end chart, Who You Love charted mostly because of Katy. It was great to listen during Valentine's Day.

097. The Kooks-“Down”

This is the third time The Kooks have appeared in my chart after Shine On and Junk of the Heart (Happy). Down was very interesting because it doesn't like your usual The Kooks song. Didn't have much replay value though.

096. Neon Trees-“Sleeping With a Friend”

Even though it's their worst lead single to this date, this song was still pretty good. Every year since 2010 there has always been at least one Neon Trees song in my chart. I just love this band a lot and I'm glad this year wasn't the exception. Tyler Glenn is a very brave person too.

095. The Fray-“Love Don’t Die”

This is the first time this band has been in my year-end charts so I say welcome. This song was very catchy and well produced.

094. San Cisco-“Get Lucky (Like A Version)”

I hate Pharrell's voice so I didn't get to enjoy Get Lucky last year. Fortunately I heard of this amazing cover this year so I could finally bop to Get Lucky.

093. Bastille-“Flaws”

Bastille's music is irresistible to me, no wonder they are alternative radio's latest candy. Their dark pop fits well in a playlist full of Vampire Weekend (Modern Vampires era), Lana (UV era) and Lorde.

092. Tegan & Sara featuring Ximena Sariñana-“Closer”

This song is so meh in its regular form but I was so thirsty for new Ximena Sariñana music that I gave this remix a chance and it was good.

091. Coldplay-“A Sky Full of Stars”

EDM and Coldplay isn't exactly my cup of tea but at least this song was catchy. I hope Coldplay does more songs like Paradise or Viva La Vida because this era I just wasn't there for them.

090. Cobra Starship featuring Icona Pop-“Never Been In Love”

A cute song but not a very strong comeback for Cobra Starship or Icona Pop. And those Titanic lyrics were kind of insensitive.

089. Kacey Musgraves-“Follow Your Arrow”

I usually am not into country but this song was so perfect. The video was cute and the message applies to me I think. Kacey should replace the void Taylor left in country music.

088. Meghan Trainor-“Lips Are Movin”

I just heard this just reached the top 5 of the Hot 100. This is incedible, I honestly was afraid Meghan would stall after All About That Bass. But I'm glad she proved me wrong, this song is so fun.

087. Ray LaMontagne-“Drive-in Movies”

I can't believe I just discovered him this year. His music is pretty cool and full of nostalgia.

086. Taylor Swift-“Blank Space”

1989 shows us a more confident Taylor Swift gone full pop and Blank Space is like her saying, I am here I am serious and I am going to stay. The song itself is okay but the video was very good.

085. Meg Myers-“Desire”

Alternative girls are usually focused on a sweet image or a black and white image but Meg decides to go more hardcore with her music. That's what makes her so interesting. She could attain Lana-level fame with the right team.

084. George Ezra-“Budapest”

This year wasn't the year of folk as Mumford and The Lumineers are still on a hiatus. While they come back, people like George Ezra will make sure alternative folk pop still breaths.

083. Cage The Elephant-“Cigarette Daydreams”

This band is perfect. This is the ballad you want to listen while walking on a rainy day.

082. Milky Chance-“Stolen Dance”

I was listening to this German band in December and everyone started to listen to them until November.....of 2014. Ugh America you're always so late. I might go to their concert next year!

081. Lady Gaga-“G.U.Y.”

Well do I need to explain why this charted? Also, unpopular opinion but the ARTPOP singles are way better than the BTW singles.
