Firstly, anyone who wanted a PS4 this year already bought it. Same with the Wii U. These are people who waited for BF to afford one. People knew the games coming out, and bought to play accordingly.
Which is why they are so low down on the list.
Meanwhile, nothing this year has convinced people to buy a XBone over the other two and the console has been sitting just over 3 million since last Christmas. People are now only buying it now because it was dramatically cheaper, and the system and it's games weren't enough to pull people in at the same price point as the PS4. If they did, Microsoft would have announced more console sales this year. They didn't.
Analysts "predict" that the Xbox One has "shipped" over 10 million yet Microsoft haven't been able to say they have at least sold another million since 2013.

Nintendo and Sony have been able to announce a dramatic increase at nearly every game orientated event.
And now the only sales Microsoft are getting are discounted goods.
