I'm black and come from a black area on the east coast. When black people do something to each other, no one cares. When someone of another color does it, there's an uproar.
There could be video of the entire incident defending the officer, and black people will still make up some excuse to attack him.
I would love Chicago, Camden, Compton, etc to have an uproar about the violence that goes on there. But sadly, that will never happen as long as the perpetrators are black. It says a lot about our culture that we're still not independent and constantly feel the need to be looked at as victims, yet we always talk about how strong we are.
Girl what?
The reason people don't go up like this is for black on black crime is because people don't have a problem arresting black people for it, like they do when it comes to white on black crime. If the officer was black, he would've been in prison two days after it happened. Save it. You Uncle Tom's have really gotta go
Judy Melinek, one of the forensic experts who was quoted by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Tuesday about the Michael Brown autopsy report, is taking issue with how the newspaper portrayed her comments.
Finally, can we move on? This has been a distraction from real issues for too long. I can't believe the massive amount of sympathy for a crazed thug.

I totally agree with both of you! These internet warriors here get all supportive of a thug that almost kills a Police Officer.
I agree with all of the above, particularly the bold section. There's been a sense of blame-the-cops mindset that absolves people any responsibility for their criminal behaviours.
SO much of what cops do in America is disgusting - the antithesis of what they are supposed to do...I don't even break the law, but I'm disgusted by MANY in the police force.
