I disagree. The GP appreciate slow and meaningful when it's a singer, like Adele, Ed Sheeran, Kelly Clarkson, Sia, Bon Iver. Pop radio didn't play P & P, so the mainstream didn't have a chance to appreciate it (and in my opinion they wouldn't anyway, but that's subjective).
LAN went viral and it's exactly the type of thing people expect a female RAPPER to be bringing out. I haven't heard any negative feedback about it, while many people thought P & P was too soft. The fact that Dr Luke produced it doesn't help.
