This song isn't bland. Yes it's generic, but at the same time it's good. If anything is bland it's Ciara's new song. Madonna anyone? They used that beat quite a lot.

Personally I think this is his best era. RWYWM was amazing lyrically only, but this era is a lot more catchier. His first album was just bubblegum pop...no opinion there =X.

What are YOU talking about? All his songs have been Pop. They just describe "urban" sound, but this is pop. He moved away from pop/rock.
