Ok let's compare both then - "Kiss" is called a flop album/era despite outdoing YT almost everywhere outside of the US and has a single that literally stomps out all Ariana's singles combined in a worldwide scale.

I don't see either "Kiss" or "Yours Truly" as flop eras but i don't know why people here say that YT wasn't a flop era when many albums that people here label them as flops depsite then outdoing YT in almost every single way.
