Yes because that wouldn't completely isolate her from the WHOLE modern day world. Please. She needs to make better music that is relevant to today's audience. Her old stuff is great, and it fitted in the day but it's 10-12 years later. Let's get real. She just needs to get a better grasp on modern day trends and stop trying to copy styles of artists that did it 2-3 years before her. It's sad because between 2002-2007 everyone was copying what Avril was doing - at least they did it well. Avril just blends everything on radio into one generic crappy song. Perfect example Here's to Never Growing Up. Gems like 17, Give You What You Like, Hello Heartache and Falling Fast all missed releases as singles for songs like Here's to Never Growing Up, Hello Kitty and to a lessor extent, Rock n Roll. Her label and herself have got it all wrong. They need to change their marketing plan 100%.
