If Jermaine was the one coming up with these ideas, and Mariah rejected every one of them, then it could very well mean that the next manager will be a yes person or wouldn't even get his idea across Mariah even if it's good. CIU, from the outside, it also seemed like he was at war with the label. The Billboard article which cited a "Beyonce style" release proved that people were going over each other's heads which suddenly the label retracted those statements from JD. I believe the label also aided in this decision.
