- UK Singles Chart Peak: #08
I've always been a fan of S Club 7. Since they disbanded in 2003, I naturally followed their offspring, which included S Club 8. When they disbanded in 2005, two of their members, Frankie Sandford and Rochelle Wiseman worked on solo projects till they came upon The Saturdays this year. Soon after news surfaced that the band was created, we had a first single. Although the single has the same instrumental as Heidi Montag's "Body Language," I found the song still very catchy and listenable. Their 2nd and 3rd singles followed along the same lines and "Up!" even charted higher inside the Top 5. Even though they are a relatively new group, I am unsure how long they will last, as most groups are usually together for a short period of time. We'll see wut 2009 brings us.

- Billboard Hot 100 Chart Peak: #10
First-off, let me say that Diddy (if he really did break up the group) is a complete and total dumbass. Danity Kane is the most successful artist on his label, even surpassing his sales. Even if Aubrey O'Day is a trashy, *****, she should still be allowed in the group to keep it alive. Anyways, much in the same fashion as their last album, Danity Kane was albe to release one very popular single, then flop with a single that carried a lot of buzz with downloads when the album leaked. "Bad Girl" had a great video and was completely hindered by the groups drama. As for "Damaged," it's one of my most played songs of the year. It's so addicting and I thought the video was great. The dance moves were tight. Also, I feel like a chart peak of #10 was very decieving. This single had a long chart life and was pretty consistent in the Top 20. Let's hope they come back next year with a new album and this was all some stupid ploy to gather attention. This marks the end of the "girl groups" on my chart I promise.
