I agree, Lil Wayne had a big impact on hip hop's downfall as well

You've ALWAYS had artists like Soulja Boy who make commercial, meaningless party songs that radio eats up. Those types of artists plague all genres and have ALWAYS plagued them. Now, the 2000s, the 1990s, and so on.

I'm assuming you're referring to Nicki & Drake. Why would we defend Soulja Boy because we stan for those two like they're even in the same lane?
And Wayne did not have an impact on hip-hop's downfall. If you actually know what you're talking about, you would know that hip-hop started to "decline" when Wayne was putting out his best work.
