It gave Rih her first #1, one of her most memorable ballads (if not the most memorable) and sold more than TTT and UA, so i would definitely not call it a stain!
Pon De Replay is still one of my favorite singles from her, so no, the album served its purpose and gave her that hit. I don't even remember what else is on that album though.
It's not like her career consists of timeless albums people appreciate as a whole bar 1 or 2 of the 7 albums she put out, so for that reason alone I wouldn't consider it a stain. She was better off giving us EP's up until Loud tbh
without it we wouldn't have pon de replay so not ALL was lost from that album...that being said as a rih stan I personally find it to be just mediocre (I like a handful of songs from it but I wouldn't listen to any of them if they came on my shuffle...maybe if it's lovin that you want/let me/pon de replay remix
