If this is true, they need to add a featured artist to the instrumental bridge in the middle of the song. I suspect they left that part of the song lyric-less because they knew they wanted to release Legendary Lovers as a later single and wanted the option of making it fresh. And this remix needs to be pushed from the onset of it's release. Just my two cents!
Y'all are a mess saying to rush release it. Do you want Katy to flop? The whole reason Birthday "underperformed" (currently #17 on Billboard on an upward trajectory to the Top 10) is because Dark Horse is STILL SO BIG. Rush releasing it would do nothing but give it less chance to smash.
This era is moving too fast. First of all, they should wait till Birthday is completely done since it seems to be getting a second wind on radio now that DH is also slowly diminishing. Secondly, WOA is a better summer single.
And if we're honest, it could actually happen too
