There is nothing wrong with who is in my sig, to some maybe, but everything in my sig is 100% better to me than that wannabe slag. The girl ****ing copied Mariah Carey's first album cover. She is such a ****ing wannabe, I can't stand her. But I don't want to go back into it  ! But don't diss who's in my sig  !

I couldn't give a ****. Their is nothing remotely new about her. We've had all the Americans do the same thing, and hell we've had some Brits try it, and not succeed, yet she comes along and she's huge! WHY? Their is nothing special about her. She has an okay voice. We've had artists with them type of voices since the 50's, it's time for something unique like Amy Winehouse's voice. I blow hot and cold with her, but I'm sick of the praise! But that's my view

Leona bores me overall but she's vocally talented and her voice is pleasant to ears. So I understand "the love she's getting". And so what if she's a Mariah wannabe? She had stated several times that Mariah and Whitney are her idols. If anything, we need more Mariahs.

But would you not say that we've had so many of these types of singers through out the years? It's time for artists like Duffy & Adele, who are getting little to no attention Worldwide, and they have talent beyond Leona's years. I can take Leona sometimes, it just depends what type of mood I'm in. When people go on and on about her, it's just like give it a rest. But when no one says anything, Bleeding Love might pop up in my head and I will listen to it. There is no doubt that she is here to stay, and I congratulate her on that, but I feel that we need something different

She IS overrated but that still doesn't mean that she doesn't deserve the praise either. She has the voice and "Bleeding Love" is a great song.

First of all, I like you so I ain't gonna put my weak, angry point of view onto you, but the thing that gets me is, How Overrated She Is ? True LL fans always say she is underrated, and it's like, you need to be slapped and sent to the darkest dungeon away from the rest of the World. As I've said, I can take her or leave her, but I just don't think she is anything special, nothing new. The only great thing about her is, it's great how much a British artist has took off in America, that was the only good thing.

She is underrated the amount of people on forums who have said she wont go no where, she is crap, she has no talent and you're a prime example and she isn't in the press much here either, she only was when she went #1 in the US, the tabloids prefer to praise junkies.
I also find it kind of ironic how you bring originality into it, the amount of people who have said Duffy is the new Dusty Springfield and Amy Winehouse, Adele is a Winehouse copy, Kate Nash is a Lily Allen copy ect..

Yes but you know fine well that most of these artists never live up to the name? If a new talent comes along, the tabloids jump on and say this is the new whatever. Duffy could never be as huge as Dusty Springfield, Adele could never be able to copy Amy, she's got weight on her, she could be a Nikki Blonsky copy? And Kate Nash is too nice to be Lily Allen. But we all know Leona could live up to the name of Mariah & Whitney, definitely here anyway. We just have to say if she lives up to that name in the USA.
I don't like Leona for the main example that people bring her up to something that she isn't. I don't think she hasn't got a good voice, she has an okay voice. But she is definitely not underrated. How many people at this site praised her as soon as they heard Bleeding Love? They still do. The only reason she isn't in the paper is because she is always working, so there is nothing that the tabloids want. I know as you are a huge fan of hers, you won't be able to understand what I'm saying. Because when you have a favourite singer, you can't see their flaws. But no one will ever, and I mean EVER, get me to like Leona full time!
