Outside of the US, it's obviously Shakira. JLo is a talented Dancer/self-marketing Queen. That's pretty much it. Did she even get any Awards for her Acting/Singing?

Billboard Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, ALMA Awards, Nickelodeon & Teen Choice Awards, American Music Awards, Imagen Award, World Music Awards [including a Legend Award], BET Award, ASCAP Awards, Premio Lo Nuestro Award, Grammy & Latin Grammy-nominations, Golden-Globe nomination, Guiness World Records for Music, Achievements/Records in both Acting & Singing, Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording, etc.

JLo clearly since her impact influenced Shakira. After Shak saw Jenny having major success in 99 while being a Latina, Shaki knew it was her time to crossover.

Any Grammys, Golden Globes, Oscars? None? No, uhmm...she won several of those raspberries for worst Movie/Actress. Shakira has won 2 Grammys + 8 Latin Grammys. JLo won some Awards for her Perfume/Clothing Line/Best Dressed and so on. Btw I like you, too.

Nevertheless, she has won countless awards for her acting & singing careers as you had asked. If I'm not mistaken, she has won more awards for her contribution to the arts than Shakira has had in her 5+ more years [25 years total] advance to Jen.
Moreover, Jen has been recognized by the Recording and Acting academies alike. Fashion, Perfumes, Charities being her other extras.
Jennifer Lopez is a bigger influential artist WW imo. She is an ICON.

Gloria Estefan is the most successful and influentual crossover Artist i.g. She paved the Way for all those Latin American Artists that followed her. Without her def no JLo probably no Shakira either. Doesn't matter how much you stress how BIG Lopez is - she is more of a performer than a vocalist/musician, she is more of a celebrity than an acclaimed actress. Shakira outdoes her saleswise and artistically with ease.
