There are a TON of "queers" (overly feminine) and drag queens and s*** always happens there.
Me and my boyfriend just avoid it.
people like you are the reason we need more LGBT prides tbh, ok i know you are masculine but please stop if drag queens, genderqueer and overly feminine people haven't fought against the fascism of police in Stonewall, you wouldn't even have the right to express yourself, even on the internet, not to mention that in LGBT prides there are a lot of people, not necessarily all feminine and queens, you are willfully-blind, that's all.
It really is! Last year I borrowed my friend's ID and was able to get into the clubs after the parade. I was out until 3 am the next day lmao. So much fun!
Chicago Pride is HUGE.

a damn mess.
Will you be doing the same this year?
What clubs did you go to? I usually only go to Roscoes.
Nope, I've only ever been to pride once and it was one of the worst experiences.
No disrespect to anyone, but some of the people that go to pride (regardless of the fact their gay/bi/trans) are not the sort of people you'd want to meet. I feel like the only people that go to pride are very over-the-top flamboyant, and extremely promiscuous. Traits which I don't really like.
My friends and family love me for who I am, I couldn't give a damn whether the general public approve of who I am.

Yeah, I've still got a couple months until I'm 21 so I'll have to borrow his ID again. Last year we started at Spin and Scarlet, but at the end of the night spent most of our time at Minibar and Roscoes. I barely remember Roscoes though bc I drank so much lol

Chicago pride is one of the biggest in the US, It just isn't gay people though. A lot of straight people come and families as well.

Nah, I'd feel out of place. Is there a Straight Pride coming up anytime soon?
Yeah. It's called every day of your life. You don't need a pride parade because basically every aspect of society is geared toward your sexual orientation being the norm.
No, I hate crowded places, which is why I avoid festivals in general, and then you have all those people with better bodies than me and who are hotter than me.
Not how I wanna spend my day.
Maybe. I'm pretty scared of big crowds so that's throwing me of a bit, but it looks fun! I might go if I find other people to go with, that usually helps.
