Why does Gaga consider The Fame Monster an "era" when it was an EP and not a full LP.
Katy stans don't consider The Complete Confection an era. And Rihanna stans don't consider Reloaded an era. I'm not hating. I'm genuinely asking.
'Born This Way' is cited online as being Gaga's second studio album. And 'ARTPOP' is cited as being her third studio album. I know her fans say they're her 3rd and 4th. But in my opinion, ARTPOP is only her third album/era as Lady Gaga.

The confusion arises from the fact that TFM was originally going to be strictly a re-release, but then Gaga changed it to being a standalone piece (that could also be purchased bundled with TF). Can you buy the Complete Confection on its own? Did the Reloaded era have a separate tour? Bad Romance is widely considered the lead single for TFM, but you don't really have a "lead single" for a re-release, etc. You can call ARTPOP her third LP strictly by definition, but it's her fourth "era" in most people's eyes
